According to Manganewsjapon’s Twitter account, a new 「Fairy Tail」 TV anime project is in the works. The announcement was first made in the latest issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine — scan found below.

On March 30th of this year, the original Fairy Tail TV anime from A-1 Pictures abruptly ended its broadcast run. It was later replaced by Toei Animation’s Tanken Driland anime.
A few weeks after it ended, manga author Mashima Hiro tweeted that he hopes to have some “good news” for fans in the future. This tease lead on for a few months on Twitter.
